আমি-O-কলকাতা
Amio Kolkata
Almost 20 years in this city, and it’s only in the past four that I’ve really started to roam—to take long, elaborate walks. I’ve always loved wandering through places, sometimes stopping to capture a moment or a detail. But I never truly explored in depth. This time, I wanted to experience the city like a child—curious, observant, finding wonder in everyday corners, even in the popular, familiar spots.
Kolkata has been everything to me. I haven’t traveled much, so this city has truly shaped who I am.
I had been planning this series for a while, though the weather had other plans. Still, I eventually got around to it. Through this series, I tried not just to capture Kolkata’s visual charm through my own lens, but also to meet people, interact, and understand the city from different perspectives—to know what others know, to feel what others feel. And in the process, I found an even deeper love and connection.
This is a glimpse into a personal relationship with my Kolkata.
